FOL grant increases branches with Wifi

Wifi access for patrons continues to grow at various Fresno County Public Library branches.

The Friends of the Fresno County Library has received a grant of $18,000 from the Lanie Albrecht Foundation in Northern California to install Wifi in library branches that do not yet have it. The Friends are working in cooperation with the Library to prioritize the order in which branches will receive WiFi and to determine the feasibility of installing Wifi in all 34 branches.

WiFi is currently available at 13 branches: Cedar-Clinton, Central Library, Clovis, Fig Garden, Fowler, Gillis, Kerman, Mendota, Orange Cove, Parlier, Politi, Reedley, Woodward Park.
